Beijing, China — Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) recently announced the launch of a series of transceiver products that can realize high-definition (HD) video through existing unshielded twisted pair cables and unshielded connectors. This allows OEMs to easily upgrade standard-definition cameras to high-definition cameras and provide the excellent resolution and image quality required for today's automotive camera applications. Compared with other automotive link solutions, the new ADV7990 and ADV7991 transmitters and ADV7380 and ADV7381 receivers use ADI's Automotive Camera Bus (C2B™) technology, which can significantly reduce weight, volume and cost, and reduce cable wiring restrictions .
C2B transceivers are specifically defined and designed for automotive applications, which means that in addition to achieving excellent visual quality on unshielded infrastructure, special attention has been paid to the use of on-chip EMC/EMI mitigation technologies to make them fully compliant with the industry’s EMC, EMI and Strict requirements for ESD robustness. The innovative cable compensation design has excellent performance and supports 30-meter cables with multiple online connections with a resolution of up to 2 million pixels (at 30 Hz) or 1 million pixels (at 60 Hz).
