First, the choice of installation site

1. Select a place where no negative pressure will occur in the measuring tube;

3. Avoid places with strong corrosive gases around the installation location;

4. When measuring the mixed phase fluid, avoid the place where the phase separation occurs;

5, the ambient temperature should generally be in the range of -25 °C ~ 60 °C , as far as possible to avoid direct sunlight;

6. Installed in a place where there is no vibration or vibration is selected. If the vibration is too large, a fixed support should be added to the pipe before and after the sensor;

7. The relative humidity of the environment should be in the range of 10% to 90%;

8. Avoid installation in places where it can be drenched or immersed in rain.

Second, the installation location and flow direction

The electromagnetic flowmeter can be mounted horizontally, vertically, and tilted on the pipe.

When mounted horizontally, the electrode axis of the electromagnetic flowmeter must be level to prevent short-term insulation of the electrode due to air bubbles entrained by the fluid, and to prevent the electrode from being covered by deposits in the fluid. The sensor should not be installed at the highest position to avoid gas accumulation.

When installing vertically, the flow direction should be upwards, so that no flow or flow is small, the heavier solid particles entrained in the fluid sink, and the light limbs rise away from the sensor electrode area of ​​the electromagnetic flowmeter. When liquid-solid two-phase media such as mud or slurry, avoid solid phase precipitation and uneven friction of the sensor lining.

The measuring tube of the sensor must be filled with fluid and must have a certain back pressure. In order to prevent negative pressure (damaged lining), the electromagnetic flowmeter should not be installed at the inlet of the pump, but should be installed at the outlet of the pump; it must be installed in the ascending pipeline when installed obliquely; it must be installed when installing the drained pipe At the lower part of the pipe.

Control and shut-off valves should be installed downstream of the sensor and should not be installed upstream of the sensor.

Third, the requirements for the length of the straight pipe

The requirements of the electromagnetic flowmeter for the straight pipe sections are relatively low. Generally, for the 90° elbow, T-shaped tee, reducer, full-opening valve and other flow resistance parts, the center line of the electrode shaft of the electromagnetic flowmeter (not the end face of the sensor) There should be a 5D straight pipe section; for valves with different opening degrees (such as a valve with adjustable opening), the length of the straight pipe on the upstream side needs 10D. Generally, the straight pipe section downstream of the sensor only needs 3D to meet the requirements. When measuring the mixed liquid of different media, the distance between the mixing point and the flowmeter should be at least 30D. (D is the inner diameter of the flowmeter)

Fourth, measuring the way to install the flowmeter in the well: 1, inlet 2, overflow pipe 3, inlet 4, cleaning hole 5, flow meter 6, short tube 7, outlet 8, sewage outlet 9, sewage valve)

1. The excitation cable can be selected with HZ medium rubber cable, the length of which is the same as the signal cable.

2, signal cable and other power supply cables must be strictly separated, can not be laid in the same pipe, can not be laid in parallel, can not be twisted together, should be separately worn in the steel pipe.

3. The signal cable and the excitation cable should be as short as possible. The excess cable should not be rolled together. The excess cable should be cut off and the head soldered again. When the cable enters the sensor electrical interface, it is made U-shaped at the port, which can prevent it. Rainwater penetrates into the sensor.

4. The connection between the excitation cable and the converter of the split type electromagnetic flowmeter is completed by special wiring, and the converter and the external connection are connected to the same type electromagnetic flowmeter.
