The CPU, memory and input/output interface are fabricated in an integrated circuit to form a single-chip microcomputer . However, if a single-chip integrated circuit cannot work, it must be added with some peripheral circuits to form a single-chip application system. The structure of a typical microcontroller application system is shown in Figure 1-3. As can be seen from Figure 1-3, a typical microcontroller application system includes a microcontroller, an input circuit and input components, an output circuit, and an output component.

2. Working Process Figure 1-4 shows the VCD DVD player tray entering and leaving the MCU control circuit. The following is an example to illustrate the working process of the MCU application system.
When the "out of box" button is pressed, the spy machine's tray is ejected from the machine, the disc is placed on the tray, and then the tray is pushed toward the inner diameter of the machine. The tray immediately presses the tray detection switch S to close, and a low battery is obtained at point A. Ping, after the level is sent to the MCU, the MCU immediately outputs the control signal (high level). The signal is sent to the base of the drive tube VT through R2. The VT is turned on. A current flows through the motor. The motor runs to retract the tray to the machine. Once the tray is completely in the machine, the tray detection switch S linked with the tray is disconnected, and a point is obtained at point A. After the level is sent to the single chip microcomputer, the single chip microcomputer immediately outputs a control signal (low level), and the drive tube VT is cut off. The motor stops.
