Summary:
TOPSwitch-GX uses current mode feedback to achieve very low no-load power consumption. C16, R1 and Q2 provide a constant current to the TOPSwitch-GX control pin. R2 feeds the residual current of Q2 to the M pin. The increase in the feed current reduces the current limit of the TOPSwitch-GX.
R11 sets the maximum current point of the device. R6, Q1 and C13 complete the slope compensation. The power supply operates at full frequency at heavy loads and medium loads, and reduces switching frequency at light loads. D9 and C10 rectify and filter the bias voltage.
