Sanan Optoelectronics announced that on October 21, 2010, the company received a subsidy for the purchase of 12 MOCVD equipment from the Wuhu Municipal People's Government of Anhui Province and a subsidy of 127.6 million yuan for 12 equipment.
According to the announcement, the “Investment Cooperation Agreement for Sanan Optoelectronics Wuhu Photoelectric Industrialization Project†signed by the company and Wuhu Municipal Government stipulated that the Wuhu Municipal Government should provide corresponding proportion subsidies according to the progress of purchasing MOCVD equipment. The company's announcement disclosed that Anhui Sanan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. purchased 107 MOCVD main production equipments from American Veeco Precision Instruments Co., Ltd. and AIXTRON AG of Germany.
The company also announced its third-quarter results. From January to September this year, its net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 280 million yuan, and basic earnings per share was 0.50 yuan.
