Asus to enter private cloud market

We learned that ASUS has provided a cloud-based total solution and promoted its server products for the competitive private cloud computing market.

Asustek has integrated cloud computing functions and services in its Internet access devices to enhance hardware marketing in this area. Asustek said that they have participated in the open procurement of cloud computing by the Chinese government, including procurement of servers, laptops, desktops, and cloud computing servers.

In addition, Asustek launched the "Asus Private Cloud" brand to promote its cloud computing hardware/software solution. Asustek said that the prices of these plans are significantly lower than those of large international suppliers.

In addition to cloud computing, Asustek cooperated with the Institute of Experimental Research and the Center for High-Performance Computing Centers sponsored by the Taiwan government to use its servers and technologies to establish Taiwan's largest GPU supercomputer, the ESC4000.

With the promotion of Asustek's private cloud solution, Asustek expects its server sales to increase by 20% annually.
