Recently, Ningbo, China, became the world's first manufacturer of Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL), which passed the “EU Ecodesign Requirements for Non-Directional Household Lampsâ€. The standard will take effect on September 1, 2013.
Ningbo Haoshi supplies fluorescent lamps and LED lamps to large retailers around the world. At present, all of the company's compact fluorescent lamps use NXP's energy-efficient CFL driver ICs. Ningbo TSH's T42U non-dimming CFL adopts the NXP2211 driver based on GreenChip technology, which has passed the certification and reached and surpassed the second functional level of the EU eco-design requirements (Level 5), including longer service life. High switching period and lumen maintenance before failure.
In addition to supplying to retailers throughout Asia, Ningbo is currently supplying LED and fluorescent lamps to major retail chains in Europe and North America, including Carrefour in France, Aldi and Lidl in Germany.
