New policy urges photovoltaic roof to become the dominant direction in the future

In addition to the Chinese government's release of policies to promote the development of the rooftop PV industry during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the new subsidy policies in Germany and Italy in April and July 2012 will also promote roof-top PV as the main demand orientation for the future European solar PV market.

The Italian side that has already decided to launch a new deal recently stated that it will cancel subsidies for solar PV systems for agricultural land, and will cancel the approval of any large-scale photovoltaic projects from the second half of 2012. Market news also said that Italy will cancel subsidies for the ground-based photovoltaic system.

In Germany, after substantially reducing the subsidy rate of ground-based photovoltaic systems and raising the subsidy threshold in 2011, the country will also re-establish the direction of subsidies in the next few months, or, similarly to Italy, remove subsidies for ground-based photovoltaic systems.

Germany and Italy withdrew their support for large-scale photovoltaic systems on the ground. The demand for rooftop photovoltaic systems will gradually emerge and become the new darling of the photovoltaic market.
